What Is Assisted Living?
Assisted living is for older adults who value their independence, but need some assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, transportation and medication reminders. Seniors may live in their own suites or with a companion and are relieved of household chores such as laundry, cooking, and cleaning.
What Is An RCFE?
Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly or RCFEs, sometimes referred to as “Assisted Living” or “Board and Care” facilities are non-medical facilities that provide a level of care that includes assistance with activities of daily living.
What Services Does An RCFE Provide?
Basic services provided by an RCFE include help with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, feeding and medications. In California, the assisted living facility cannot provide medical services. If a resident requires some types of medical services, the resident will have to hire a skilled medical professional to provide those services in the RCFE. Third party services are not included in the monthly cost of the RCFE.
Are RCFE's Licensed?
Yes, RCFEs are state licensed care facilities. To be licensed, a facility applies to Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division (DSS/CCL) for a license. After the facility is licensed, it has to comply with all legal requirements and the Title 22 regulations for owning and operating an assisted living facility.

What Is Respite Care?
Respite care for the elderly is a short-term stay at a senior living community. It is often suggested for seniors who are recovering from a hospital visit or other health circumstance. It’s also available for caregiver vacations or senior living trial periods. Depending on the community, our respite care services are available for a variety of care levels.
Do You Offer Any Religious Or Spiritual Services? Is Religious Orientation Important?

Our communities are centrally located and in close proximity to freeways, medical centers, pharmacies, postal service, banks, restaurants, shopping centers, and malls. There are two hospitals within approximately 10-15 minutes from all our communities, and a fire station within approximately 5 minutes driving time
Can I bring my own furniture?
Yes, you are welcomed to make your room Yours ! State does mandate everyone has a bed, nightstand, lamp, chair and dresser.
Can residents have visitors?
Yes ! We encourage family to come and visit. We want everyone to feel at home.
What is a residential facility?
A residential facility can provide some or all of the long-term care services an older person needs. We also provide personal care, social and recreational activities, meals, and medical services.
What services do most assisted living facilities provide?
In addition to the monthly cost for housing, which can range from a private or shared bedroom to a full apartment, these facilities usually provide the following services: Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulating/transferring. Meals/snacks. Housekeeping and Laundry
